Sales Overview Report

The Overview report answers how your sales are going in one screen. It uses the period, Compare with and Store choices from the bar above the report.

Headline and key figures

The headline gives total sales, the change against the comparison dates and the number of orders, for example "EGP 42300.00 in sales, up 12% vs your comparison dates. 318 orders." With No comparison the change is left out.

Four tiles follow: Revenue, Orders, Avg Order Value and Gross Profit. Each change names what it is compared with. Select Gross Profit to open the Profit report for the same period.

Sales trend

Sales trend charts Revenue or Orders by hour, day, week or month, depending on how long the period is. With a comparison, a dashed line shows the previous period or the same period last year, and a dot marks the best bucket. Select a point to open its completed orders in Sales: an hour or a day opens that whole day, and a week or a month opens its days within the period. Choose Show as table to read the same figures as a table, with View orders on each row.

Needs attention and top products

• Needs attention lists up to three critical issues or warnings for the period, or says that nothing needs your attention. Open insights opens the Insights report.
• Top products ranks the five best-selling variants with quantity, revenue and average price. Select a row to open the product.

Where sales come from

Switch between Stores, Payment methods and Channels to see revenue by source, largest first, with each source's share and order count. Select a row to open the matching completed orders.

More metrics and visitors

More metrics shows the rest of the period's figures: items sold, discounts, tax, fees, customers, peak hour and best day. When your plan includes the online store and your role can view stores, Online store visitors shows visits, unique, new and returning visitors, and visitors by store.

CSV export

Choose Export CSV beside the headline to download the trend rows: date, revenue, orders and average order value, plus the comparison revenue when you compare.
