Your First Sale
How to open New Sale, add a product, and take payment on the Cashvio POS.
This page is a quick bridge from setup to your first completed order. If you already finished Quick Setup, you are one screen away from ringing up a sale.
Before you start
You need at least one active product in your catalogue. If you have not added one yet, follow Create Product first.
Open New Sale
Start the register from any of these entry points:
- Click New Sale in the sidebar (always pinned).
- Use the New Sale quick action on the Dashboard.
- On mobile, tap the round New Sale button in the center of the bottom bar.
The sale screen opens full screen. If you manage multiple stores, choose the store first so prices and payment methods match that location.
Add a product and charge
- Browse categories or search, then tap a product to add it to the cart.
- Adjust quantity in the cart if needed.
- Tap Charge (or the payment button) and pick a payment method.
- Confirm the sale. Cashvio creates the order and shows a receipt.
Tip
Run a test sale with a small amount while you are learning. You can void or refund later if your role allows it.
After the sale
Open the order from Orders to print or share the receipt, update fulfillment, or attach a customer retroactively.
