Business Settings & Plan
Where to view and edit your business information and manage your plan features and capacity limits.
Business Information
Go to Settings > Business to view your business details:
- Business Name
- Contact Phone (and a secondary phone, if set)
Editing business information
Tenant-wide administrators (such as the account owner) can update these fields directly:
- Open Settings > Business.
- Click Edit business info.
- Update the business name and one or two contact phone numbers, then save.
Store-level team members do not see the edit action. Plan status, billing, and subscription details are managed separately on Settings > Plan or by the Cashvio team.
Who can see this?
The Business and Plan pages are visible only to business-level users (like the account owner). Team members with store-level roles do not see them.
Currency and multiple stores
Every store under one business account must use the same currency. When you add a second store, its currency must match your existing stores. Mixed-currency tenants are not supported at launch.
Product prices, coupons, and POS receipts follow the selected store context on operational pages. Plan capacity counts retained users, stores, and POS devices (including inactive ones) when you upgrade or downgrade.
If a plan change would leave you over a limit, Cashvio rejects the downgrade and explains what must be reduced first. No records are deleted automatically.
Plan & Features
Go to Settings > Plan to see everything included in your plan.
Your subscription at a glance
At the top of the Plan page you'll find your plan overview showing:
- Plan name and price (or "Free" for the free plan)
- Status: Active, or a warning state if your subscription has expired
- Renewal date: when the current period ends
- Usage: one meter per limit in your plan, such as Stores 2 of 5 or Products 340 of 1,000, with a bar that turns amber from 80% and red when the limit is reached. Unlimited means your plan sets no cap. When Cashvio cannot count something for you (for example POS devices, or a list you are not allowed to view), the meter shows the limit alone.
Requesting an upgrade or renewal
There is nothing to pay online; plans are managed by the Cashvio team. To upgrade or renew:
- Open Settings > Plan.
- Click Request upgrade or renewal.
- Optionally write what you need (for example "we need more stores").
- Send the request. Our team receives it with your account details and contacts you.
This button works even after your subscription expires, so you can always ask for a renewal.
What happens when a paid plan expires
On the free plan?
The free plan renews itself automatically: no reminders, no read-only period, no lock. Everything below applies to paid plans only.
You will never be locked out without warning:
- Reminders: we email you (and send an in-app notification) 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day before your subscription ends.
- Read-only period: after the end date, your account switches to read-only for a limited grace period (about a week). Everyone can still log in and view orders, products, reports, and customers, but nothing can be created or changed. A banner on the Plan page shows exactly when the grace period ends.
- Account lock: if the subscription still isn't renewed when the grace period ends, sign-in is disabled until you renew.
Your data is safe
Nothing is ever deleted when a subscription expires. Renewing restores full access exactly as you left it.
Features are grouped into three sections:
| Group | What it contains |
|---|---|
| Modules | The main sections of the system (Orders, Products, Inventory, Customers, Suppliers, Analytics, POS, Roles, Online Store, Coupons, Overdue Payments), shown as cards with the module's icon and description. A module that is on shows an Open link that takes you straight to it. |
| Advanced features | Extra capabilities such as advanced analytics, advanced inventory, and custom reports |
| Usage and limits | Your plan's limits, shown as the usage meters in the plan overview: maximum stores, users, POS devices, products and daily AI tokens |
Turning features on and off
Features you are allowed to control show a toggle switch. For example, you can switch off a module your team doesn't use, and it disappears from the sidebar for everyone.
Some features display a label instead of, or next to, the toggle:
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Upgrade required | Not included in your current plan. Click Request next to it to open the upgrade request with that feature already named. |
| Included with plan | Included and always on in your plan; the switch is shown on and cannot be turned off |
| Admin override | Set specifically for your account by the Cashvio team |
While a feature is being switched, only that feature's switch is paused; the rest of the page stays usable.
Tip
Turning off unused modules keeps the portal simpler for your team. You can switch them back on at any time without losing data.
