Today at This Store (POS Summary)
See today's revenue, orders, and cash vs non-cash totals for the store you are selling from, without leaving New Sale.
While you are on the full-screen New Sale screen, you can open a quick day summary for the store you selected. Think of it as a lightweight X-report before full shift reports arrive.
Open the summary
- Start a sale from New Sale (or open an existing sale screen).
- In the top bar, next to the exit control, tap the reports icon (Today at this store).
- A drawer opens with today's numbers for that store.
On phones the drawer slides up from the bottom; on desktop it opens from the side.
Who can see it
The button appears only if your plan includes analytics and your role can view orders. If you do not see the icon, ask an admin to check your permissions.
What you see
| Figure | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Revenue | Net sales for completed orders at this store today |
| Orders | How many completed orders today |
| Cash | Revenue paid with cash |
| Non-cash | Everything else (online, receipt, store credit, and similar methods) |
Below the headline numbers, a By payment method list breaks down today's sales by how customers paid.
How "today" is calculated
- The window is today in your device timezone, from the start of the day until now.
- Only the store selected on the sale screen is included (not every store in the business).
- Figures refresh when you reopen the drawer.

FAQs
Q: Does this replace a shift or Z-report? A: No. It is a quick mid-day (or end-of-day) glance at the counter. Dedicated shift reports are a separate feature.
Q: Why are my numbers different from Reports? A: This drawer is scoped to one store and today so far. The Reports screens can cover other stores and longer periods.
