Analytics & Reports
How to use the reporting dashboard to track sales, profit, customer behavior, staff performance, and business insights.
Accessing Reports
Go to Reports in the sidebar. Reports are organized in seven tabs: Overview, Profit, Customers, Returns, Fulfillment, Staff, and Insights.
Filters (all tabs)
- View Period — Day, Week, Month, or a Custom date range
- Numbers compare against the previous period automatically
Sales Overview
The Overview tab shows your overall business performance:
- Total Revenue, Gross Profit, Total Orders, Average Order Value — plus gross margin, items sold, discounts, tax, and new customers, each with a change vs. the prior period
Charts Available
- Sales Trends — Sales over time, with peak and lowest points
- Sales by Hour / Day — Hourly breakdown in day view, daily in week/month view
- Sales by Store — Revenue share per store (click a slice to open that store's orders)
- Sales by Channel — Which channels generate the most revenue
- Sales by Payment Method — How customers pay
- Top Products — Best-selling products by quantity and revenue
- Store Visits — Storefront visitors: unique, new, and returning
The Overview tab supports CSV export of the sales data for use in spreadsheets.
Profit Analysis
The Profit report helps you understand your margins:
- Revenue vs. Cost — Compare selling prices to cost prices
- Profit Margins — See your gross profit by product or category
- Cost Analysis — Track costs by supplier
- Product Profitability — Identify your most and least profitable products
Note
Profit calculations use the cost price you set on each product variant. Make sure to keep cost prices up to date for accurate profit reporting.
Customer Analytics
The Customers report shows customer behavior patterns:
- Customer Acquisition — How many new customers over time
- Repeat Customer Rate — Percentage of returning customers
- Customer Lifetime Value — Average total spending per customer
- Customer Segmentation — Grouping customers by spending patterns
Staff Performance
The Staff report tracks team member metrics:
- Sales by Staff — Revenue generated per team member
- Orders Processed — Number of orders handled by each person
- Performance Trends — How individual performance changes over time
Returns Analytics
The Returns report helps you understand return patterns:
- Return Rate — Percentage of orders with returns
- Return Reasons — Breakdown of why products are returned
- Returns by Product — Which products are returned most
- Return Value — Total monetary value of returns
Fulfillment Analytics
The Fulfillment report shows how completed sales reach your customers:
- Fulfillment Rate — Share of sales already handed over or delivered, plus how many are still pending
- Orders by Method — How sales split between in-store, pickup, delivery, and dine-in — with revenue, average order value, and fees collected per method
- Fulfillment Status — Where sales currently stand (pending, preparing, ready, delivering, completed)
- Delivery Performance — Delivery order count and revenue, the delivery fees you earned, and the average fee per order (shown once you have delivery orders)
- Fulfillment by Store — The pickup / delivery / dine-in mix and the pending count per store
Note
Use this tab to decide where to invest: if delivery brings a high average order value but few orders, promoting it may pay off — and a rising pending count at one store is an early staffing signal.
Business Insights
The Insights tab analyzes your numbers and turns them into plain-language guidance:
- Health scores — An overall business health score plus per-area scores (revenue, products, customers, profit, stores, returns)
- Requires Attention — Critical issues to act on now
- Warnings and Opportunities — Emerging risks and growth openings (e.g., peak-hours opportunities, best-seller momentum, high discount alerts)
- Recent Wins — What improved recently
- Recommended actions — Each insight comes with concrete recommendations, expected impact, and priority
Note
Insights are generated from your actual sales, product, customer, and returns data over the selected period.
