The Dead stock report in Reports answers one question merchants screenshot and share: how much money is tied up in stock that is not moving.
Free Dead Stock Report Template
If you need a ready-to-use template to enter aging inventory manually, print an A4 sheet, or export to CSV:
Open the report in Cashvio
- Go to Reports in the sidebar.
- Open Dead stock from the list of reports.
- Pick a window beside the headline: 30 days, 60 days, or 90 days.
- If you can see more than one store, use Store above the report to check one store.
You need analytics on your plan and the View Inventory permission. The report shows your stock as it is now, so it has no period or comparison.
The headline and key figures
At the top you see a sentence like:
EGP 12000.00 tied up in 12 products with no sale for 30+ days (340 units).
That is the total value at cost of active products that still have units on hand and had no completed sales in the selected window (or were never sold).
Three tiles follow: Sleeping value, Products and Units.
The product list
Products lists the stock lines by sleeping value, highest first:

| Store | Which store holds the stock (shown when the list covers more than one store) |
| Units | Quantity on hand |
| Value at cost | Units × cost per unit |
| Last sale | Date of the last completed sale, or Never sold |
When there are more sleeping products than the list shows, a line under the title says how many of them you are seeing. Select a row to open that product in the catalogue.
How stock is counted as "dead"
A SKU×store line appears when:
- Quantity on hand is greater than zero
- The product is active
- There is no completed sale for that variant at that store in the last 30, 60, or 90 days (depending on the window), or there has never been a sale
Cost comes from the inventory cost on hand, not the selling price.
Tip
Start with 90 days to find the deepest sleepers, then tighten to 30 days when you want a weekly cleanup list for discounts or purchase pauses.

FAQs
Q: Why is something listed if I sold it yesterday? A: Only completed sales count. Pending or cancelled orders do not clear dead stock.
Q: Can I export the list? A: Yes. Choose Export CSV beside the headline to download the products with variant, SKU, store, units, unit cost, value at cost and last sale date.
