Storefront Payment Methods

Configure Cash and Receipt for online checkout and set a minimum order value for the storefront.

Storefront payment methods control what options customers see during online checkout. By default, Cash and Receipt are enabled for all stores.

Configure them from Settings > Stores, open your store, and select the Payments tab, then the Storefront section.

Note

Online payments are not yet available. Cash and Receipt are the currently supported storefront payment methods. When online payments become available, you will be able to enable them from the portal.

How Each Method Works on the Storefront

MethodCustomer Experience
CashCustomer selects "Cash" at checkout. A pending payment record is created. You mark it as paid from the business portal when the customer pays on delivery or pickup.
ReceiptCustomer selects "Upload Receipt" and uploads a photo of their payment transfer. A pending payment is created with the receipt attached. You review and accept the receipt from the business portal.

See Online Checkout Flow for the full customer journey and Order Payments for accepting receipts and marking cash paid from the portal.

Minimum Order Value

The Payments tab also holds the store's Minimum Order Value setting. When set, storefront customers must reach this amount before they can place an order. Set it to the value you need and save, or leave it at 0 for no minimum.

What customers see

When a minimum is set, the storefront cart page actively nudges customers toward it:

  • A message: "Add X more to place your order" with the exact remaining amount
  • A progress bar filling up as they add items
  • The checkout button stays disabled until the minimum is reached

This turns the minimum from a checkout-time surprise into a gentle upsell: customers add one more item instead of abandoning the order.
