Sales Channels

How sales channels work, how to add custom ones, and how to see where your orders come from.

What are Sales Channels?

A sales channel records where an order came from, so your reports can show which sources bring you the most business.

Predefined Channels

Cashvio ships with predefined channels, each with its own icon:

  • Web (your online storefront)
  • Portal (orders your team creates)
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • WhatsApp
  • Telegram
  • TikTok

Predefined channels cannot be deleted.

Creating a Custom Channel

For any other source (e.g., "Phone Orders", a marketplace, a delivery app):

  1. Go to Settings > Channels.
  2. Click Create Channel.
  3. Enter the channel name (up to 50 characters) and save.

You can create up to 20 custom channels. Custom channels can be deleted; renaming is not currently supported — delete and re-create instead.

Enabling Channels per Store

Which channels are usable is controlled per store:

  1. Go to Settings > Stores, open the store, and select the Channels tab.
  2. Toggle each channel active or inactive for that store.

Using Channels on Orders

When making a sale, the channel records where the order came from. You can filter the orders list by channel.

Viewing Channel Performance

Open Reports > Overview to see the Sales by Channel chart — which channels bring the most revenue and orders.

Tip

Set up channels that match your real sales sources. Accurate channel attribution tells you exactly where to invest your marketing effort.
