Account Settings

How to manage your personal account — email change, password, and installing the app.

Accessing Account Settings

Go to Settings > Account in the sidebar. Every user has their own account page.

Personal Information

Your first name, last name, username, email, and role are displayed here. Name changes are made by an admin from the user's details page — what you can change yourself is your email:

Changing Your Email

  1. Click the edit icon next to your email.
  2. Enter your new email address.
  3. A verification email is sent to the new address.
  4. Open the link in that email and click Confirm to complete the change.

The email only changes after you confirm it from the verification link — until then, your old email keeps working.

Changing Your Password

In the Security section:

  1. Enter your current password.
  2. Enter your new password (at least 8 characters, different from the current one) and confirm it.
  3. Click Save.

Installing the App

The Account page also has an Install App section — install Cashvio as an app on your desktop for faster access. On mobile, the Dashboard shows an install banner.

Language and Theme

Language and theme are switched from the top bar, not from settings:

  • Language — the translate icon switches between English and Arabic instantly.
  • Theme — the profile menu toggles between light and dark mode.

Note

These preferences are personal — your language and theme choices don't affect other team members.
