Storefront SEO & Content

Meta title and description, announcement bar, footer text, and static policy pages for your online store.

Use Online Store > Content & SEO to improve search visibility and add bilingual promo and policy content customers see on every visit.

SEO Settings

Improve your store's visibility in search engines from Online Store > Content & SEO > SEO Settings:

  • Meta Title: The title that appears in search engine results and browser tabs (recommended: 50-60 characters)
  • Meta Description: A brief description of your store (recommended: 150-160 characters)
  • Favicon: Upload a small icon (16x16 or 32x32px) that appears in browser tabs and bookmarks

Search engines are told about both English and Arabic versions of every storefront page automatically when customers share language-specific links (see Sharing Your Store).

Tip

Write compelling meta titles and descriptions that include relevant keywords. This helps customers find your store in search results.

Promote offers and add a personal touch from Online Store > Content & SEO > Announcement Bar & Footer Text:

  1. Enter your Announcement (English) and Announcement (Arabic), e.g., "Free delivery on orders over 500 EGP". The bar appears at the very top of every storefront page in your brand color, in the language the customer is browsing in.
  2. Enter your Footer text (English) and Footer text (Arabic), a short message shown near the bottom of the storefront footer.
  3. Click Save Content.
  • If only one language is filled in, it's shown for both languages.
  • Clear a field and save to hide the bar or footer message.

On mobile, the custom footer text also appears in the Information sheet from the bottom navigation bar.

Tip

Announcing a real offer works best. For example, pair "Free delivery on orders over 500 EGP" with the store's Free Delivery Threshold so the storefront actually waives the fee automatically.

Static Pages

Create informative pages for your customers from Online Store > Content & SEO > Static Pages:

Creating a Static Page

  1. Go to Online Store > Content & SEO > Static Pages.
  2. Select the page type (Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, or About Us).
  3. Use the rich text editor to format your content:
    • Bold and italic text
    • Bulleted and numbered lists
    • Links to other pages or websites
    • Headings and paragraphs
  4. Enter content in English and Arabic for each page type.
  5. Click Save.

These pages are automatically linked in your storefront footer and can be accessed by customers at any time.
